- Prepare the spread
In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the dry Italian dressing mix until smooth and well combined. - Slice the cucumber
Peel the cucumber (optional) and slice it very thin—almost translucent—for the best texture. - Assemble the sandwiches
- Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each slice of bread.
- Add a layer of cucumber slices on top.
- Place another slice of bread on top to form a sandwich.
- Trim and serve
