Creamy Chicken Noodle Casserole

Ingredients

  • 300 g egg noodles
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional but recommended)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Cook the noodles

  • Boil egg noodles in salted water until just tender.
  • Drain and place them in a baking dish (like in your image).

2. Make the creamy mixture

  • In a bowl, mix:
    • Cream of chicken soup
    • Milk
    • Chicken
    • Vegetables
    • Seasonings

3. Assemble

  • Pour the creamy mixture evenly over the noodles.
  • Gently mix or leave layered (both ways work).
  • Sprinkle cheese on top if using.

4. Bake

  • Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes until hot and bubbly.

🔥 Tips

  • Add crispy breadcrumbs or fried onions on top for crunch.
  • Swap chicken for tuna to make a similar “tuna noodle casserole.”
