Cookies Made From Brownie Mix

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix (any brand, ~18–20 oz / 500–550 g)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp water or milk
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional, but highly recommended)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Preheat oven

  • Set to 180°C (350°F)
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

2. Make the dough

  • In a bowl, mix brownie mix + eggs + oil + water
  • Stir until thick (it will be sticky, that’s normal)
  • Fold in chocolate chips if using

3. Shape cookies

  • Scoop about 1–2 tbsp of dough per cookie
  • Place on tray, leaving space (they spread a bit)

4. Bake

  • Bake for 8–10 minutes
    👉 Edges should be set, centers slightly soft

5. Cool

  • Let cool on tray for 5 minutes, then transfer

  • Slightly underbake for gooey centers
  • Add nuts or white chocolate chips for variation
  • Sprinkle a little sea salt on top for bakery-style flavor
  • Chill dough 15–20 min if it’s too sticky
