No-Bake Strawberry Cream Layer Dessert

 

🧾 Ingredients

Bottom Pink Layer:

  • 1 box strawberry gelatin (like Jell-O)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • Β½ cup cold water
  • 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip) or whipped cream

Middle Cream Layer:

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • Β½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1Β½ cups whipped topping

Top Layer:

  • 1–1Β½ cups whipped topping
  • Crushed graham crackers or cookies (for topping)

1. Make the Strawberry Layer

  • Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water.
  • Stir in cold water and let it cool slightly (don’t let it fully set).
  • Fold in 1 cup whipped topping.
  • Pour into a dish and refrigerate until set (about 1–2 hours).

2. Make the Cream Layer

  • Beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mix well.
  • Fold in whipped topping until light and fluffy.

3. Assemble

  • Spread the cream layer evenly over the chilled strawberry layer.
  • Smooth the top.

4. Add Topping

  • Spread remaining whipped topping on top.
  • Sprinkle crushed graham crackers or cookie crumbs evenly.

5. Chill

  • Refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours (overnight is best) before slicing.

🍽️ Tips

  • For a richer flavor, use crushed digestive biscuits or vanilla wafers on top.
  • You can add fresh strawberries between layers for extra texture.
  • Swap strawberry gelatin for raspberry or cherry for a twist.
