Ingredients:
- 1 can (about 565 g / 20 oz) crushed pineapple (with juice)
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 slices white bread, cubed (or 1 cup soft bread cubes)

- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a small baking dish (about 20×20 cm / 8×8 inch).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together:
- Eggs
- Sugar
- Melted butter
- Vanilla extract
- Salt
- Stir in the flour until smooth.
- Add the crushed pineapple (with its juice) and mix well.
- Fold in the bread cubes until evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set (slightly custardy).
