Chocolate Cream Layered Pudding: A Delectable Dessert Delight

Ingredients

For the base layer:

  • 1 cup crushed digestive biscuits or graham crackers
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar

For the cream cheese layer:

  • 200 g cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream (or whipped topping)

For the chocolate pudding layer:

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 packet chocolate pudding mix (or homemade pudding)

For the top layer:

  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder (for garnish)

1. Prepare the base:

  • Mix crushed biscuits, melted butter, and sugar.
  • Press firmly into the bottom of a serving dish.
  • Chill in the fridge for 15–20 minutes.

2. Make the cream layer:

  • Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix well.
  • Fold in whipped cream.
  • Spread evenly over the chilled crust.

3. Prepare the chocolate pudding:

  • Whisk pudding mix with milk until thickened (about 2–3 minutes).
  • Let it set slightly, then pour over the cream cheese layer.

4. Add the final topping:

  • Spread whipped cream on top.
  • Garnish with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder.

5. Chill:

  • Refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours (overnight is even better).
