Hanky Panky Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 1 lb processed cheese (like Velveeta), cubed
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 loaf party rye bread or cocktail bread slices

🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the meat:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and sausage together until browned. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add cheese & seasoning:
Lower the heat and add the cubed cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until everything melts into a thick, creamy mixture.
  3. Assemble:
Spoon the mixture onto each slice of rye bread.
  4. Bake:
Place on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 8–10 minutes, until bubbly and slightly crisp on the edges.
  5. Serve hot:
These are best straight out of the oven!

🔥 Tips

  • You can freeze them before baking—just add a couple extra minutes when cooking from frozen.
  • Swap in spicy sausage if you want a kick.
  • A sprinkle of red pepper flakes adds extra heat.
