Cheesy Beef Nacho Dip Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies (like Rotel)
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 oz), softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Tortilla chips

Optional Toppings

  • Jalapeños
  • Green onions
  • Cilantro
  • Salsa
  • Guacamole

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 3–5 minutes.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes with green chilies.
  5. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture into a baking dish or oven-safe bowl.
  7. Add the beef mixture on top.
  8. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese generously over everything.
  9. Arrange tortilla chips around the edges like in the photo.
  10. Bake for 15–20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  11. Broil for 1–2 minutes for extra browning if desired.

Serve hot with extra chips for dipping.
