A homemade dessert in 5 minutes that I never get tired of

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1–2 tbsp chocolate chips (optional but recommended 😄)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients
In a microwave-safe mug, add flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir well.
  2. Add wet ingredients
Pour in milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix until smooth (no lumps).
  3. Add chocolate chips
Stir them in or just drop them in the center for a gooey core.
  4. Microwave
Cook for 60–90 seconds (depending on your microwave power).
The cake should rise and look set but still soft.
  5. Cool slightly & enjoy
Let it sit for 1–2 minutes—it’ll be hot!

🍦 Optional Toppings

  • Ice cream
  • Powdered sugar
  • Nutella or peanut butter
  • Fresh fruit

💡 Tips

  • Don’t overcook—it can turn rubbery.
  • For extra richness, add a small square of chocolate in the middle before cooking.
