Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage & Broccoli – Easy, Quick & Addictive! 

 

If you love sweet, sticky, garlicky sauces and meals that come together in 20 minutes, this dish will become your new favorite. It’s a perfect weeknight dinner, full of flavor, protein, and that glossy honey-garlic glaze everyone loves!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 1/2 lb smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional but amazing for flavor)

How to Make It (Step-by-Step)

1 Prep the sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together:

  • Honey
  • Soy sauce
  • Minced garlic
  • Sesame oil

This will be your sticky, shiny, sweet-savory glaze.

2 Sear the sausage

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced sausage and cook 3–4 minutes until it gets that golden, crispy edge.
Remove and set aside.

3 Cook the shrimp

In the same skillet, add the shrimp.
Cook for 1–2 minutes per side, just until pink.
Remove and set aside with the sausage.

4 Steam or sauté the broccoli

Add broccoli to the skillet with 2–3 tbsp water.
Cover and steam for 3 minutes, or sauté until bright green and slightly tender.

5 Combine everything

Return the shrimp and sausage to the pan.
Pour the honey-garlic sauce over everything.
Stir and cook 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients perfectly.

Serve With

  • White rice
  • Noodles
  • Brown rice
  • Or eat it just like that for a low-carb meal

 Tips to Make It Even Better

  • Add red pepper flakes for some heat
  • Replace broccoli with snap peas or asparagus
  • Add 1 tbsp lemon for a zesty finish
  • Double the sauce if serving with rice
