CROCKPOT RAVIOLI LASAGNA

 CROCKPOT RAVIOLI LASAGNA

A no-boil, no-stress, family-favorite dinner you can throw together in minutes! This slow-cooker ravioli lasagna gives you all the rich, cheesy comfort of traditional lasagna without the work. Layered with tender cheese ravioli, hearty seasoned beef, and melty mozzarella, it’s a warm, cozy meal that practically cooks itself.

Ingredients

  • Frozen cheese ravioli (1–2 bags depending on crockpot size)
  • 1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1 jar your favorite pasta sauce (marinara or tomato basil)
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese, shredded

Instructions (Long & Detailed)

1. Prep the meat layer

Brown your ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Season lightly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, or Italian seasoning if you like. Once browned, drain any excess grease and stir in half the jar of pasta sauce. This gives the beef a rich, saucy texture perfect for layering.

2. Prepare your slow cooker

Spray the bottom and sides with a little cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Now spread 2–3 tablespoons of sauce across the bottom—this keeps the ravioli soft and prevents burning.

3. Start layering like a lasagna

Think of the crockpot like a deep casserole dish.

Layer 1: Ravioli

Place a full single layer of frozen cheese ravioli at the bottom.

Layer 2: Meat Sauce

Spoon a layer of your beef-and-sauce mixture over the ravioli.

Layer 3: Cheese

Sprinkle a generous handful of mozzarella and a spoonful of Parmesan.

Repeat these layers until you run out of ingredients, finishing with sauce + mozzarella on top.

4. Cook low and slow

Cover and cook:

  • LOW: 3½–4 hours
  • HIGH: 2 hours

Do not overcook or the ravioli will become too soft.
You’ll know it’s ready when the cheese is fully melted and the edges are bubbling.

5. Serve hot and cheesy

Let it sit for 10 minutes before scooping—it will hold its shape better.
Top with fresh basil or extra Parmesan. Serve with garlic bread, salad, or steamed veggies.

 Tips for the Best Results

  • Use frozen ravioli — it holds up better than thawed.
  • Mix cheeses for stronger flavor: mozzarella for stretch, Parmesan for depth.
  • Add veggies like spinach, mushrooms, or zucchini if you want a fuller lasagna feel.
  • Use spicy marinara if you like a kick!
  • Make it meaty by doubling the beef or mixing half sausage + half beef.
