Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken & Linguine Alfredo

Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
For the Alfredo Sauce
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: pinch of nutmeg for richer flavor
For the Pasta
- 12 oz linguine
- Salt for boiling water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions (Very Detailed)
1. Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add linguine and cook until al dente (about 8–10 minutes).
- Drain, drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil, and set aside so it doesn’t stick.
2. Prepare the Chicken
- Season chicken with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
- Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and cook until golden brown on all sides (6–8 minutes).
- Add 2 tablespoons butter and the minced garlic.
- Cook 1–2 more minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant and the chicken is fully cooked.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
3. Make the Alfredo Sauce
- In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons butter.
- Pour in the heavy cream and whisk gently over medium heat.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and optional nutmeg.
- Let the sauce simmer for 3–4 minutes until thick and creamy.
4. Bring It All Together
- Add the cooked chicken back into the sauce.
- Toss in the linguine and mix until every strand is coated in the creamy Alfredo sauce.
- Let everything simmer together for 1–2 minutes to absorb flavor.
