Cheddar Cheese Quick Bread

 

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup sugar

1 cup milk

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 large egg

 

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, and egg. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan and serving.
