Baked Italian Sub Sandwiches 


Easy • Cheesy • Perfect for Parties

Ingredients:

  • 1 large Italian loaf (or 4 sub rolls)
  • 12 slices salami
  • 8 slices pepperoni
  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tomato, thinly sliced
  • Banana peppers (optional but amazing)
  • 2 tbsp softened butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • 2 tbsp sub sandwich vinaigrette (or olive oil + vinegar mix)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the bread open but don’t cut all the way through.
  3. Mix butter + garlic powder + Italian seasoning, then brush inside the bread.
  4. Layer the meats: salami → pepperoni → ham.
  5. Add provolone slices and sprinkle mozzarella.
  6. Add onion, tomato, and banana peppers if you like a kick.
  7. Spread mayo on the top side of the bread and drizzle a little vinaigrette.
  8. Close the sandwich and wrap it tightly in foil.
  9. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  10. Unwrap, slice, and serve warm.

Tip: Add a little pesto or giardiniera for a fire Italian deli flavor.
