Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken & Linguine Alfredo
A rich, creamy, restaurant-style chicken pasta that melts in your mouth — perfect for family dinners or special nights!
Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
For the Alfredo Sauce
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup chicken broth
- Salt & pepper to taste
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional but amazing)
For the Pasta
- 12 oz linguine
- Salt for the pasta water

1. Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the linguine and cook until al dente, usually 8–10 minutes.
- Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup pasta water.
2. Prepare the Chicken
- In a bowl, season the chicken with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
- Add 2 tablespoons butter and the minced garlic.
- Cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant and lightly caramelized.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
3. Make the Alfredo Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt 3 tablespoons butter.
- Pour in the heavy cream and whisk gently.
- Add the chicken broth and keep whisking until smooth.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and nutmeg.
- If the sauce becomes too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time.
4. Put It All Together
- Add the cooked chicken back into the pan.
- Toss in the linguine.
- Stir until every strand of pasta is coated in creamy garlic butter Alfredo sauce.
- Let simmer 2–3 minutes to marry the flavors.
