Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

For the Alfredo Sauce

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: pinch of nutmeg for richer flavor

For the Pasta

  • 12 oz linguine
  • Salt for boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions (Very Detailed)

1. Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add linguine and cook until al dente (about 8–10 minutes).
  3. Drain, drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil, and set aside so it doesn’t stick.

2. Prepare the Chicken

  1. Season chicken with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on all sides (6–8 minutes).
  4. Add 2 tablespoons butter and the minced garlic.
  5. Cook 1–2 more minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant and the chicken is fully cooked.
  6. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.

3. Make the Alfredo Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons butter.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and whisk gently over medium heat.
  3. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and optional nutmeg.
  5. Let the sauce simmer for 3–4 minutes until thick and creamy.

4. Bring It All Together

  1. Add the cooked chicken back into the sauce.
  2. Toss in the linguine and mix until every strand is coated in the creamy Alfredo sauce.
  3. Let everything simmer together for 1–2 minutes to absorb flavor.

Serving Suggestions
