Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade equivalent)
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup salsa
- Optional toppings:
- Shredded lettuce
- Diced tomatoes
- Sliced black olives
- Jalapeños
- Green onions
🔪 Instructions
- Preheat oven
Set to 375°F (190°C). - Cook the beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. - Season it
Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until thickened. - Prepare the crust
Unroll crescent dough and press it into the bottom of a greased baking dish (8×8 or similar), sealing the seams. - Layer the filling
Spread the cooked taco meat evenly over the dough. - Add creamy layer
Mix sour cream and salsa together, then spread over the meat. - Top with cheese
Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top. - Bake
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is melted. - Cool slightly & serve
Let sit for 5 minutes before slicing. Add your favorite toppings before serving.
