Slow Cooker 5-Ingredient Amish Ranch Potatoes: Creamy, Tangy, and Irresistible

Ingredients (5 items)

  • 1.5–2 kg (3–4 lbs) potatoes, peeled and sliced or cubed
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (300–400 g) cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom if preferred)
  • 1–1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese

🍲 Instructions

  1. Prep the potatoes
    Peel and cut into bite-sized cubes or thin slices so they cook evenly.
  2. Mix the sauce
    In a bowl, combine:

    • Ranch seasoning
    • Sour cream
    • Cream soup
      Stir until smooth and well blended.
  3. Layer in slow cooker
    • Lightly grease the slow cooker
    • Add potatoes
    • Pour the creamy ranch mixture over them
    • Stir to coat evenly
  4. Cook
    • LOW: 6–7 hours
    • HIGH: 3–4 hours
      Potatoes should be fork-tender.
  5. Add cheese
