Oven Baked 4-Ingredients Irish Nachos

Ingredients (4 only)

  • 3–4 medium potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold)
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6–8 slices cooked bacon (crumbled)
  • 2–3 green onions (sliced)

🔥 Instructions

1. Prep the potatoes

  • Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F)
  • Wash potatoes well (leave skin on for texture)
  • Slice into thin rounds (about 3–5 mm thick)

2. Bake until crispy

  1. Spread slices in a single layer on a baking sheet
  2. Lightly season with salt (optional but recommended)
  3. Bake for 20 minutes, flip, then bake another 15–20 minutes
    • They should be golden and crispy like chips

3. Add toppings

  • Remove from oven
  • Sprinkle evenly with cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon

4. Melt & finish

  • Return to oven for 5 minutes (until cheese is melted)
  • Remove and top with sliced green onions

🍽️ Serve Immediately

Best eaten hot while crispy and cheesy.
