Oven-Baked 4-Ingredient Amish Beef and Bell Pepper Bake

Ingredients (4 items)

  • 500 g (1 lb) ground beef
  • 2–3 bell peppers (any color), sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook the beef
    In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Prepare vegetables
    Slice the bell peppers and onion.
  4. Assemble the dish
    • Lightly grease a baking dish.
    • Spread the cooked beef evenly on the bottom.
    • Layer the sliced peppers and onions on top.
    • Sprinkle shredded cheese over everything.
  5. Bake
    Place in the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve
    Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
