Ingredients
- 2 cups dry pasta (penne, rotini, or macaroni)
- 5–6 hot dogs, sliced into rounds
- 2 cups pasta sauce (your favorite jarred tomato sauce)
- 2 cups water or chicken broth
Instructions
- Add Ingredients to Slow Cooker
Pour the pasta, sliced hot dogs, pasta sauce, and water (or broth) into the slow cooker. - Stir Well
Mix everything together so the pasta is fully coated and submerged as much as possible. - Cook
- Cook on LOW for 2.5–3 hours
- Or on HIGH for 1.5–2 hours
Stir once or twice during cooking if possible.
- Check Pasta
Once the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed, it’s ready to serve. - Serve Warm
Spoon into bowls and enjoy!
Optional Add-Ons (Highly Recommended)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese (stir in at the end)
- A handful of frozen peas or corn
- Sprinkle of Parmesan or dried herbs
Pro Tips
- If pasta gets too soft, reduce cooking time slightly next round.
- Add a splash of broth before serving if it thickens too much.
- For extra flavor, lightly brown the hot dogs before adding (optional).
